Breaking: Kenya Impounds Cargo Trucks Ferrying Bobiwine Guns To Uganda

Reports coming in from Kenya indicate that Kenya’s elite General Service Unit (GSU) a paramilitary wing in the Kenya Police Service, is allegedly holding cargo trucks loaded with guns that were destined to neighbouring Uganda where riots are ongoing.

Uganda is in the middle of Presidential campaigns scheduled to go to polls on 14 January 2021.

Reports from Uganda indicate that more than 80 people have been shot dead in running battles between opposition supporters and state security.

According to unconfirmed reports, the impounded trucks were travelling from the Coastal city of Mombasa on a long haul to Uganda’s capital Kampala a stronghold for the opposition.

Two other cargo trucks have also allegedly been captured from Kenya’s capital Nairobi and also Bungoma.

Meanwhile, Frank Tumwebaze a Ugandan cabinet Minister considered so close the ruling circle said, “the enemies of Uganda and our progress would want to exploit the political situation to cause mayhem but Uganda will firmly deal with them!”Click here to follow us on twitter for the latest updates on this story
