According to NUP president,Kyagulanyi “Ashraf Kasirye, a journalist with Ghetto TV & good friend shot on the head by police as they blocked me! He is in a critical condition. We are hoping against hope that he will live. Gen. Museveni and the criminals he orders to kill us will have to account for these atrocities,”
We have learned that for five hours last evening on Sunday, Ashraf Kasirye underwent surgery on his head. We will wait for a detailed report from the doctors on what they actually managed to do to save his life. What I know in simple terms is that he had some bones of his skull removed because those particular bones were shattered. Ashraf is in Intensive Care Unit right now undergoing treatment.
