Bruce Melody released from Burundi Jail

Bruce Melodie has been released by Burundian police after reportedly agreeing to pay back $2,000 owed to Burundian promoter for concerts missed in 2018. The promoter had also sought 30m Burundian Francs (Rwf 15m) as compensation for losses incurred

Burundi police arrested Rwandan singer Bruce Melodie immediately he arrived at Bujumbura airport for concerts scheduled Friday and weekend. It was reported a music promoter filed case claiming he had paid the singer last year but never showed up for concerts
