Former MUBS student and Independent presidential candidate, John Katumba also known as Katumba Oyee on Thursday spent the better half of the day in running battles with police in Jijnja District.
Katumba was being denaid access to Iganga market where he wanted to make a procession against the Ministry of health stipulated S.O.p’s. Uganda Police led by Keneth Muheirwe the Iganga DPC arrested and detained Katumba for 3 hours.But was later released and forced out of Jinka town.
