Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ Earns Gold Certification In Italy

 Nigerian Afrobeats star, Rema has recorded another milestone after his hit single ‘Calm Down’ earned a Gold certification, with a sale of over 25,000 copies in Italy.

The hit single was released as a lead single to Rema’s debut album ‘Raves & Roses’ in March 2022.

Meanwhile, since its release, the single has enjoyed wide traction from fans worldwide and the singer extended the attention with a Selena Gomez remix.

Before being certified Gold in Italy, ‘Calm Down’ received Gold certifications in Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands. It also received a Silver certification and a Diamond certification in the UK and  France respectively.

Moreover, the hit single had also enjoyed international credit as it entered the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 74 and the top 10 of the UK singles chart.

After his show in Brixton Arena London, Rema announced that the hit single has surpassed 1 billion streams across all music platforms. We expect the hit single to achieve more milestones as it still rings loudly in the ears of music listeners worldwide.
