The Supreme Court has this Friday afternoon dismissed the Bank Of Uganda’s Civil Appeal against Ruparelia. This ended a the 5 year legal battle between BOU and Sudhir Ruparelia regarding the receivership of the former Crane Bank. The Bank of Uganda will also pay costs to businessman Sudhir Ruparelia
The dispute between The Bank of Uganda Vs Sudhir Rupareila was disposed off and dismissed in favor Sudhir. The Supreme Court also held that the management of Crane Bank reverted to the shareholders after the 20/01/2018.
