Tems Surpasses 1 Billion Streams On Spotify

Nigerian International Afrobeats sensation, Tems, has crossed the billion streams mark on the popular streaming music platform, Spotify.

According to Chart news platform, Chart Data, popular Nigerian singer, Tems has now hit and crossed over a billion streams on Spotify across all credits.

Furthermore, the music star has been on the rise since she featured on Wizkid’s smash hit ‘Essence’, which went on to have a Justin Bieber remix and hit the No. 9 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

Meanwhile, this new milestone sees her join Afrobeats legends, Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid and Ckay, who have also crossed the one billion Spotify stream mark. Tems’ feat of surpassing over a billion streams on Spotify has been a testament to her international success and her rise to fame as one of the biggest Afrobeats stars.

More recently, she featured on Beyonce’s album ‘Renaissance’ on the single ‘Move’. The star has enjoyed what we can call some solo success with her hit single ‘Free Mind’ enjoying a 17-week run on the Billboard Hot 100 after it made its way to the charts two years after its official release.
